Alhamdulillah....

Alhamdulillah!

For the benefit of all non-Muslim readers... "Alhamdulillah" is a word of gratitude to Allah.

I have been reading the news on the Net on the Myanmar Cyclone Nargis and the Earthquake in China. So many died, so many casualties, so many lost their family, lost their homes. They are plagued with diseases, hunger and thirst.

Ain't we grateful that we could go home to a shelter above our heads, no matter how small our home is... The comfort of a home, together with out family...

Ain't we grateful that even with the rising cost of living, even with the rising prices of the essential food supplies, we are still able to come home to see food laid down on the dining table.

Ain't we grateful that we are still able to go shopping at shopping malls, to go for a cup of mochae frappucino at Starbucks, all the luxury we are enjoying here in Singapore?

We should be grateful...

I am calling out to all.... Let us all do our part in contributing to the people who needs is more than ourselves. Let's all kill the selfishness is ourselves and contribute sincerely to the Myanmar Cyclone Nargis Appeal and the China Earthquake Appeal...

It ain't the amount but the thought that matters...
