The lovely Chocolate Truffle Mini Tarts...
We all decided to bring something to Leena's place yesterday...
So, I thought of PrettyPastries' Chocolate Truffle Tarts...
So, I sms-ed Kak Rita and ordered the super-mini chocolate truffle tarts.
A whole box of 32 pcs....
Check this out...
Well, Kak Rita... The super mini tarts were such delicacies...
It melts when we pop it into our mouth...
Yummy...
Hmmm...
Wondering if I should add this to my dessert corner....
I wish I could get a sponsor...
Kwang! Kwang! Kwang!

Even after all the snacking, after all the choc truffle tarts, after all the spaghetti and the japanese chicken....
Hahaha!
Anyway, I had one of the gowns changed.... And, Mother approves our choices.... Which is cool!
So, now.... counting down to our wedding photoshoot day... 6 more days....
Had some pics taken but... I won't post it in here.... Or it'd just leave no surprises... So, keep on waiting for the BIG Day....
Oh ya! I had a good time with some friends yesterday... After so super long... And, had so much to eat.... Felt so full till this afternoon...

Horoscope for 19 Aug 2008
The Bottom Line
It's not the time to go on any shopping sprees or be indiscriminate with money.
In Detail
Now is not the time to go on any shopping sprees or be otherwise indiscriminate with your money. You have two opposites working against each other -- your sense of responsibility and your urge to shower those you love with gifts. Listen to your more practical side and understand that your friends would rather have you penny-pinching and stress-free than worried over what bills you are going to pay first! You can be generous with your time instead -- they will appreciate it much more.
I was intending to have some retail therapy earlier this evening to release some tension in my head.... But, I ended up window-shopping instead. And, read this now... How ironic! Hee!

Painting Day
Hubby and I planned this "Painting Day" last month. Decided to have this done before Ramadhan. So, last weekend was the chosen weekend to do this lil project since it was his weekend off.
Met Hubby at 12:30 pm and went to get the stuff like the paint (guess which color?), the rollers, the brushes, turpentine and masking tape. We started off with Mother's room first...It took us like slightly more than 4 hours to complete Mother's room. By end day, we both were feeling so bushed that we had to forego our plans to go Mustaffa Centre to look for some accessories for his songkok.
Next morning, we started with the living room... Hubby did the ceiling. Eizzy and I did the walls. Then, Eizzy retired to go to work and Hubby and I persevered on to paint my room.... Our room-to-be. Mother helped a little but by touching up here and there. It was fun. It had been awhile since we spent such quality time together. This time, with an additional member-to-be. Hehe!
Anyway, I chose pink this time for the walls and orchid white for the ceiling. Gosh! For a moment, I feel like I am looking into a Barbie House. Kwang Kwang Kwang!
But, looking at our hard work and effort put in, I am satisfied with the paint job, even though it was not any near perfect.
Thank you, hubby! And, I love you...
Aside to a friend, D.... I am so sorry to have missed your wedding. Had this planned quite sometime, but, thought we could finish it within a day. Alas, it stretched to Sunday as well. Unless, if you dun mind me arriving, covering in pink paint. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best and may you have an everlasting marriage. Once again, babe! I apologise.... muahhh!

Yeay!!!! We've registered....
Hmmm....
Today, Hubby and I stepped into ROMM... For the first time... At least for me. I was nervous, which I find it weird and funny cos' it was really nothing actually.
Hubby came to meet me at my place at 10:30 am and my Father fetched both of us and off we go... There was a slight traffic jam and when we reached ROMM, I had butterflies in my stomach. I was glad that my future bro-in-law's wife was sms-ing me and keeping my fingers busy.
When we entered the lobby, we didn't know what to do nor where to go. Lucky for us, the gentleman at the reception counter asked us if we are registering our marriage. So, we went to the reception counter and he helped us explain what needs to be completed and what documents required. After passing to him our NRICs (bride, groom and Wali), our Certificates for Kursus as well as the photocopies of NRIC of our Saksi(s), he advised to complete a form to state the hantaran and the mas kahwin, the date of solemnisation, venue and preferred Kadi. Then, we were given a queue number and was advised to wait for our queue for payment.
Waited.... And a lady (who speaks very fast) attended to us to complete the registration online and after Hubby made payment for the registration fee, we were asked to go up to the second level for a short interview.
Wah! To get married also, need to have an interview??? Like applying for a job....
Another wait... Finally, our queue number was called... Hubby went in first, within minutes, he came out... And, then... it's my turn. I went in. The Ustaz confirmed my details, asked me if i was ever married before, if I was ever engaged to someone else before and if I was forced to get married. Lastly, I was asked to make a declaration. This part was funny... I almost laughed my heart out. Heehee! It's like making an oath, a pledge. Then, all's over and I went out to call my Wali (my father) in for his turn. Within minutes, my Father came out and we then head to my Grandma's place.
Didn't manage to take any pics... Unfortunately... But, it was an experience...

From 12th floor of Maybank Tower (where I work)...
Did video conferencing with my buddy, Seha...
She's so patriotic....
To think that she was even wearing red and white in Brisbane...
Managed to catch the Parade via the webcast online...
Now.... The moment I am waiting for...
The fireworks...
I wish I could post the videos here...
But the files are too huge...
Anyway,
Happy Birthday, Singapore!!!
